The Institute is based in Rayleigh Essex in the East of England, where we have a comprehensive and permanent collection of percussion instruments.
Our curriculum covers all percussion instruments and styles and our specialist and highly-qualified teachers are Teaching Fellows of the Institute with an average of 15 years’ teaching experience.

We’re closely affiliated with both Trinity College London and the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and can teach students who wish to track their progress through graded music examinations.
We have a proven track record in preparing students for junior and senior music college auditions and have a 100% success rate in that respect.

We offer taster lessons for beginners in which students have the opportunity to try all the instruments at the studio to decide where their percussion passion lies.
For students who are unable to visit our studio for face-to-face lessons, we offer remote lessons via video.
